This is truly an exceptionally figured blank of California claro walnut. Every square inch of this blemish free slab sawn blank is guaranteed to carve highly figured wood; the end grain is also figured! Air dried 8 years. On a scale of 3 to 5 in grading claro walnut for density with 5 rating the hardest this blank rates 5. A perfectly matched forearm is included measuring: 2 9/16″ thick x 3 1/4″ wide x 14″ long.
